Junior Data Analyst Opportunity

SustainIt provide CSR and sustainability consulting and support services to organisations around the world. For more than fifteen years we have been working with large corporates across various industry sectors to increase engagement, reduce operational costs and increase the success of their CSR and sustainability projects and programmes.

Our innovative solutions have successfully helped many of our clients understand and manage their data and sustainability challenges. We are now looking to grow our project and support team and are looking for an entry to mid-level data analyst to join us.

The role and ways of working:
• The position will be working with the wider project and support team you will provide administrative support for our client’s sustainability data management systems
• Teamwork is a key element at SustainIt, the role will work closely with the Client Technical Leads of a variety of projects and be able to provide technical resource and support for our client’s
• We will encourage you to constantly be looking for new and innovative ways to support our clients
• The role will suit someone who is looking for an opportunity to grow their career and looking to make an immediate impact
• We would like someone who brings some previous experience in customer support and has strong attention to detail

Strong analytical skills – Experience of reviewing data trends and auditing or cleaning data as well as extracting key data points for use for storytelling and/or visualisation
Practical – high level working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
High attention to detail – you sweat the details and take care in your work so that you deliver to a consistently excellent standard
Organised – Ability to organise and prioritise busy workloads
Innovative – Driven to learn new things and keep up to date with the advances of the industry
Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with non-technical people
Proactive – Keen to take responsibility and get things done. You are willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.

Experience & Qualifications: Essential (E) or Desirable (D)

• Experience of working on a helpdesk – E
• Proven relevant experience and sound working knowledge of datasets, including imports, exports and reporting – E
• Experience of working with UL EHSS, Enablon or other sustainability data management software solutions – D
• Experience of reviewing data trends and auditing or cleaning data – E
• Practical, high-level working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel – E
• Understanding of energy and carbon reporting including emission factors – D
• Understanding of corporate environmental, health and safety (EHS) including supply chain and the circular economy – D
• Experience of extract key data points for use for storytelling and/or visualisation – E
• Experience and working knowledge of any of the following: WordPress, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python – D
• Commitment to excellent customer service – E
• Excellent analytical skills and judgment – E
• High attention to detail – E
• Ability to organise and prioritise busy workloads – E
• Ability to work both independently and as a team – E
• Creative approach to problem-solving – E
