Case Study – Phillip Morris International
A large European Tobacco company use Enablon to manage and report their Environment, Health, Safety and Security (EHS&S) data was utilising internal resource for the user support, system administration and management. This approach is very common, however for Philip Morris International it was consuming a great deal of valuable staff resource that was needed to focus on core objectives to improve their business performance. The client approached SustainIt to better manage the Enablon system and free up vital in-house resources.
SustainIt worked closely with the client over an intensive three-month period enabling them to successfully outsource the support and management of their Enablon system to us. We now provide a helpdesk to manage all user requests including data input, process and workflow queries, correcting inconsistencies within their data, recurring task management and running reports. We also provide them with a resource to manage bugs, continuous improvements, system governance, end user training and any major system changes.
The client has now fully handed over the management of their Enablon system to SustainIt, allowing the system manager to focus their efforts on improving their sustainability and health and safety performance. The handover was very well received by all system users who have expressed their enthusiasm for the quality and timeliness of the support we provide. After introducing timeliness checks for all campaigns, more data is being submitted and validated on time. Data inconsistencies are also being identified and corrected more quickly and regularly, allowing for more accurate reporting.
